Passionate About Helping You Find Your Way

My name is Michelle Costigan and I am a licensed clinical professional counselor, licensed clinical alcohol and drug counselor, and registered art therapist. I have worked in a variety of psychiatric and medical settings, assisting clients in developing skills to work through trauma, addiction, and other challenges in living through the use of talk therapy, visual art, and exploring the great outdoors.

Life is an adventure and, in any adventure, you are likely to encounter some uncharted territory.  We often choose to face challenging times alone due to uncomfortable feelings like fear, shame, and guilt that make it hard to ask for help.  But, you don't have to walk alone.  My goal is to create safe spaces for people to practice self-care, find joy, and connect with the most authentic version of themselves, while learning and growing from whatever thoughts, feelings, and behaviors show up.

I am also committed to practicing what I preach.  For me, this means spending time in nature, moving my body, and expressing myself through visual art.  Feel free to check out the art and blog tabs to see how I practice self-care on a regular basis.
